Bovax R&D center is located at Yigu Plus, Zhangjiang, Shanghai, China. In 2021, it was certified as a National High-tech Enterprise. The center owns a 3000m2 R&D laboratory, which includes an 800m2 GMP-compliant pilot-scale clean area and a bio-safety level-2 laboratory. It is equipped with a variety of imported large equipment and precise instruments, such as pre-filled syringe filling machine (Bosch), large lyophilizer (Tofflon), GC instrument (Agilent), LC-MS instrument (Waters), capillary electrophoresis apparatus (Beckman), dynamic light scattering particle size analyzer (Malven), and Enzyme-linked fluorescence spot analyzer (CTL). The center is dedicated to developing recombinant protein vaccines and drugs, its batch capacity can reach up to over 5,000 doses of finished product, which is able to meet the development needs of recombinant protein drugs or vaccines at various stages of preclinical research and clinical research.
Bovax industrialization center is located at Chongqing International BioPark, which owns a 50,000 m2 GMP-compliant plant, equipped with the first-class manufacturing process systems, analytical equipments and utility auxiliaries from home and abroad, including the automated stainless steel process fluid system, microbial fermentation system, protein purification system, aluminum adjuvant preparation system, as well as PFS and vial filling lines. The filling capacity is able to reach up to 36,000 doses, providing large-scale commercialization GMP production services with stainless steel bioreactors of 4×500L and 8×1000L. At the same time, Bovax has established a comprehensive production quality management system, and has obtained the Manufacturing License of Pharmaceuticals from the Chongqing Medical Products Administration. This ensures that the production of recombinant protein vaccines and drugs comply with relevant regulatory requirements.
